As the Managing Director, Jay oversees BLiNQ Media’s sales efforts in the Midwest. Jay partners with agencies to enable the world’s most recognizable brands to build customer loyalty and reach new audiences leveraging the power of social engagement advertising.

Jay is a seasoned online media veteran who understands the importance of building brands and creating advertising products that drive value for advertisers while creating rich and relevant experiences for consumers. Prior to joining BLiNQ Media, Jay was with weather.com where he held various sales functions including VP, Midwest Ad Sales as well as launching and growing the Inside Sales and International sales forces.

A marketing graduate of the State University of New York Buffalo, Jay gained first-hand media knowledge within the Atlanta ad agency community at Austin Kelley, JWT and BBDO South. If you asked Jay the biggest deal he closed while at weather.com, he’d say without a doubt, that it would be convincing his co-worker, Amy, to marry him and start a family in Chicago, where they all still reside. He’s active in the Chicago interactive advertising community and is the co-chair of the IAB’s Local sub-committee.

Known for his dry sense of humor, thought-provoking questions and love of the Yankees, Jay also enjoys traveling the globe, walking Chicago’s neighborhoods, untethering on the train by watching his shows and finding a good deal. Isn’t there some small daily-deal start-up in Chicago?!?
